A loan to help to purchase acacia tree saplings and fertilizers in order to expand her industrial crop plantation.

Hà, a 50-year-old woman, is married with three children. Her family belongs to an ethnic minority and lives in a mountainous area in Cam Thuy district. Both Mrs. Ha and her husband are farmers, cultivating industrial crops and selling timber to factories. They have been raising buffaloes for over 30 years. Additionally, she also works as a domestic helper in the village to supplement their income. Despite their efforts, their income is just enough to make ends meet due to a lack of capital and dependence on weather conditions.

Realizing the need for additional funds, she decided to apply for this 4th loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase acacia tree saplings and fertilizers in order to expand their industrial crop plantation. She understands that expanding the forest area is not only a long-term investment but also a way to protect the land.

Expanding the plantation would bring several benefits to her family. Firstly, it would diversify their income sources, reducing their reliance on timber sales and buffaloes. By cultivating rubber trees, they can tap into the growing demand for rubber products and potentially earn a higher income. Moreover, rubber trees are known for their long lifespan and ability to prevent soil erosion, which would help preserve the land in the long run.
